That is awesome news! I remember I was into Max Payne back in the day, during the height of my GTA fandom. They're all time classics and if remade properly, I would definitely go back to them.
I had passed on Cyperpunk 2077 but recently with the free trial on PS5 I gave it a go and never in a million years did I think I would end up liking it so much. It was one of the most immersive storylines I've experienced in a long time. I'm hooked now, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for the franchise. Which yes, I hope it becomes a franchise and gets more installments because this world and it's characters are so interesting.
In my opinion, I...
It kind of sucked anyway, really emotionless and boring story. No need for a sequel.
@John_McClane
Yeah for like $800, not at retail price.
@-Foxtrot
Completely agree. I'm glad someone has the courage to say it.
I hope The Last of Us 3 is in the works, it's still one of my favorite franchises. I know a lot of people are down on the series because of what happened in part 2, but if we move on from the whole Joel thing, we know that the fireflies are still out there and Ellie is still the only person immune and she's the key to finding a cure. I think there's still a story to be told there and I want to see how it ends. Hopefully it ends on a high note that reminds us more of the original. ...
The whole narrative since Far Cry 6 came out is that the formula is starting to get repetitive. And I'm sure there's true to that, but also I feel this game was just sloppily made. Far Cry 5 and even New Dawn were way more enjoyable than this in my opinion. It's more than just the formula getting stale, they didn't put nearly the same effort into crafting Far Cry 6 as they did with Far Cry 5. With Far Cry 6, I just find myself confused all the time, the AI is bad and sometimes...
Probably more installments of their already popular franchises. That's almost always a given, plus they will probably come out with some new IP's. They have some of the best first party developers.
It was a pretty much "nothing" show for me. The only thing that saved it a little was the announcement of a new Star Ocean game. Little Devil Inside also looks interesting but it had already been revealed before.
Finished it already and traded it in, it wasn't that great. It was a long tedious drawn out story that never did much for me other than frustrate me most of the time. I only brought it because ever since FF7 remake I've been getting into JRPG's more but now I know the Tales series is not for me. The funny thing is... I remember buying Scarlet Nexus thinking it was just the appetizer till Tales of Arise came out, but I ended up liking Scarlet Nexus more, I still have Scarlet while ...
@Nicknasty
Also, user reviews on metacritic don't mean shit. Sometimes games get review bombed for no reason. Look at the Last of Us 2. People hadn't even played the game and they were already review bombing it because the leaks told them Joel dies. No matter if you like the Last of Us 2 or not, you can't possible think the game really deserves a 4 out of 10.
For all we know, Deathloop is getting review bombed because it's a Bethesda game...
@Nicknasty
If you're like me, you'll probably find out Tales of Arise is a bit overrated also. As far as Deathloop, yeah I don't know... If I do get it, it's just because I found Tales a bit disappointing and traded it in.
@KingofBandits
What did I say? I said I'm "not" going to buy Life is Strange.
@Stanjara
That's just my opinion of course. And I haven't finished it yet.
@RpgSama
No yeah of course, I was never serious about buying Life is Strange. I might try that later on when it's at bargain, if even that. So many good games coming out over the next few months, Kena: Bridge of spirits, Back 4 Blood, Far Cry 6, Elden Ring, Dying Light 2, Horizon Forbidden West and more.
Heck, I wasn't going to get Deathloop because the game didn't intrigue me that much but reviews have really surprised me.
I haven't finished the game yet but honestly, I was expecting more. I chose this game over Life is Strange: True colors and Deathloop but I kind of regret it. For some reason the combat in the Tales games always gives me trouble and Arise was no different, I just end up switching it to auto. But forget the combat, I play RPG's mainly for the story and so far this story is pretty underwhelming. I think Shionne is such a jerk and I don't know why Alphen even puts up with her. None o...
It's a little different, it's like a weird mixture of a fantasy RPG but blended in with something that seems like fans of the Twilight movies would of liked.
I don't want all games to be the same, so I'll keep an open mind and give it a chance. Who knows maybe this character will grow on us and we'll find out she has a deeper personally that meets the eye. And besides the gameplay and graphics look pretty sick.
It was a very good show in my opinion. It's still baffles me that people make such a big deal about games coming to PS4. If you look at past generations, it takes at least 2 years to completely leave the previous gen behind, this gen probably even more so because of the pandemic. There are still a lot of people who can't get a PS5, so they think it's a good idea to keep supporting the PS4 for now. I don't think it's holding PS5 games back because they're not tying to m...
You know what. I forgot about Project Eve, that one looked really interesting also.
@Christopher
You're right, but I just don't know that any of that is going to be the magic touch that makes gamers come back and start thinking "it's now the game it was hyped up to be". I don't know if that's possible anymore, I mean this was mainly a story driven game not an MMO. For someone like me who already beat the main story, it's not going to be the same going back and just doing side quests even with improvements.
